Resolution / work around :


To configure and run the Online POS in Comingle mode, follow the steps below:


1. Store Configuration

  • Create a Store and ensure that “Is OnPremise” is unchecked. (attached the below given retail profile)

2. Retail Profile Configuration

  • Create a Retail Profile and ensure that “Allow Online POS with Comingle” is enabled.
     (This setting is required to create an Online POS.)

3. POS Installation and Configuration

  • Install only the POS component on the target machine.

  • Update the CXSRetailPOS.xml file with the following tags:



Set IsCloudPOS to true:

<IsCloudPOS>true</IsCloudPOS>

Specify the Comingle Store Site ID:

<StoreSiteID>XXX</StoreSiteID>

 

4. Connection Manager Configuration

  • Provide the Head Office (HO) machine details in the Connection Manager at Online POS machine.

  • Once configured, the HO Management Console will display all available stores for login.

5. POS Login

  • The Online POS can now be launched and logged in from a separate machine using the configured Comingle mode.
