Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other taxes are essential for businesses to comply with local regulations. iVendNext allows you to set up and manage GST and other taxes efficiently.



  • How to Set Up GST:


  1. Navigate to Home > Accounting > Masters > Tax Template.

  2. Click on New to create a new tax template.

  3. Enter the Tax Name and set the Tax Rate.

  4. Define the Tax Accounts for input and output taxes.

  5. Save the tax template.


  • How to Apply GST:


  • Sales Transactions: Apply GST to Sales Orders, Delivery Notes, and Sales Invoices.

  • Purchase Transactions: Apply GST to Purchase Orders, Purchase Receipts, and Purchase Invoices.

  • Automatic Calculation: The system automatically calculates GST based on the tax template.

  • Multi-Tax Support: Manage multiple tax types, such as VAT, Sales Tax, and Service Tax.

1.2 Tax Withholding

  1. Navigate to Home > Accounting > Masters > Tax Withholding Category.

  2. Click on New to create a new tax withholding category.

  3. Enter the Category Name and set the Withholding Rate.

  4. Define the Accounts for tax liability and expense.

  5. Save the tax withholding category.


  • How to Apply Tax Withholding:


  • Purchase Invoices: Apply tax withholding to Purchase Invoices.

  • Automatic Deduction: The system automatically deducts the withholding tax based on the category.

  • Payment Entries: The withheld amount is recorded in the Payment Entry.

  • How to Set Up Shipping Rules:


  1. Navigate to Home > Stock > Masters > Shipping Rule.

  2. Click on New to create a new shipping rule.

  3. Enter the Rule Name and define the Shipping Cost based on distance or weight.

  4. Save the shipping rule.


  • How to Apply Shipping Rules:


  • Sales Transactions: Apply shipping rules to Sales Orders and Delivery Notes.

  • Purchase Transactions: Apply shipping rules to Purchase Orders and Purchase Receipts.
