This article gives you an overview of Delivery Trips in iVendNext, a feature that enables retailers to efficiently plan and execute multi-stop deliveries using a single vehicle.
A Delivery Trip organizes multiple customer deliveries into a single route, with key features:
Multi-stop planning with Google Maps integration
Driver and vehicle assignment
Estimated arrival times based on real-time traffic
Automatic route optimization for the fastest path

Delivery Trips can be created manually or from a Delivery Note.
Navigate to Delivery Trip Module:
Go to Home > Stock > Delivery Trip.
Click Add Delivery Trip.
Assign Driver & Vehicle:
Select an existing driver or create a new one.
Choose a vehicle (e.g., Truck-101).
Set Departure Time:
Define the start date and time for the trip.
Add Delivery Stops:
Manually enter customer addresses or
Click "Get Customers from Delivery Note" to auto-populate stops.
Save and Submit.
Save the configuration and Submit to finalize the Delivery Trip.
Automatic Route Sorting: The system rearranges stops for the most efficient path.
Real-Time ETAs: Calculates arrival times based on current traffic.
Group nearby deliveries into a single trip.
Track fulfillment status for each stop (Pending/Completed).
Drivers can view their assigned trips on mobile devices.
Update delivery statuses in real-time (e.g., "Delivered," "Failed Attempt").
