This article gives you an overview of iVendNext's Manager Override feature, which adds control by requiring approval for sensitive POS actions like voiding sales or applying high discounts.
Key Scenarios Requiring Override:
Voiding or suspending transactions.
Applying discounts beyond cashier limits.
Accessing restricted reports (e.g., X-Z tape).
Role-Based Permissions:
Permissions are assigned via Retail Permissions (Home > Retail > Settings > Retail Permissions).
Example: Only managers can approve price overrides (see Transaction Rights tab).
