This article gives you an overview of Gift Card Journal, a centralized transaction ledger, providing complete visibility into all gift card activities across your retail operations. 




Accessing the Gift Card Journal

1. Navigation Path

  1. Login to iVendNext Admin Console

  2. Go to: Retail > Gift Cards > Gift Card Journal

  3. Default view shows last 30 days of activity


2. Access Permissions

  • Standard Roles:

    • Cashiers: View-only for their transactions

    • Managers: Full access with export rights

    • Accountants: Financial reporting access

  • Custom Roles:

    • Audit-specific views

    • Location-restricted access
