Finding Your iVendNext Gift Card Number

Overview

Every iVendNext Gift Card has a unique serial number required for balance checks, redemptions, and recharges. Whether you're a customer or retailer, this article explains multiple ways to locate the Gift Card Number.



Where to Find Your Gift Card Number

1. On the Physical Gift Card

  • Pre-printed cards: The number is typically displayed on:

    • The front/back of plastic cards

    • The bottom of paper gift certificates

    • Beneath a scratch-off security panel (if applicable)


Idea: For security, never share the full number publicly—only provide it at official checkout.



2. On the Purchase Receipt

When a gift card is sold or recharged:


  1. The serial number prints on the transaction receipt

  2. Look for fields labeled:

    • Gift Card ID

    • Card Number

    • Gift Card Serial



3. Via Gift Card Reports (For Retailers)

Steps:


  1. Navigate to: Home > Retail > Masters and Report

  2. Under Customer Reports, select Gift Card Report

  3. Locate the card in the list—the Gift ID column shows the number.


Idea: Click any Gift ID to view the Gift Card Balance, Gift Card Expiry date, and the Gift Card Redemption history




4. From the POS Transaction Search

For cards used in purchases:


  1. Go to POS > Transaction Search

  2. Enter the customer’s details or sale date

  3. The linked gift card number appears in the Payment Method section.




What If the Number Is Lost?

If the gift card number is unreadable or missing:


For Customers:

  • Contact the store with:

    • Purchase receipt (if available)

    • The original payment method details


For Retailers:

  1. Use the Gift Card Report to search by:

    • Customer name

    • Purchase date/amount

  2. Reissue the card if necessary.



Key Notes

Security: 

Treat gift card numbers like cash—they can be redeemed by anyone who has them.


Expired Cards: 

Retrieve numbers from old reports under Expired Gift Cards.
