iVendNext Foresight - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

iVendNext Foresight - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1. Does Foresight replace iVendNext's reorder logic?

No. It complements it. Foresight computes a dynamic reorder level alongside any static one you keep as a hard floor.

Q2. Can I run a forecast on demand?

Yes. Open any forecast and run it, or trigger a bulk refresh for a company.

Q3. How long until forecasts are reliable?

About 90 days of organic history. After that, accuracy stabilises.

Q4. How is multi-currency handled?

Each forecast carries one currency, resolved from the account, then the company, then the system default. Consolidated multi-currency views are built as reports.

Q5. Where does my data live?

Inside your iVendNext cloud tenant. Foresight reads the data you already capture.

Q6. Can I forecast at item-group level?

The base unit is item × warehouse (inventory) and item × customer (sales). Group-level views come from reports.

Q7. Does it work with item variants?

Yes. Each variant is a separate item and gets its own forecast.

Q8. Is there anything to install or maintain?

No. Foresight is delivered as SaaS within iVendNext. Provisioning, upgrades, and scaling are managed for you.

Q9. Can we export forecasts?

Yes. Export to Excel, or as data feeds to BI tools.

Q10. How do we get support?

Through iVendNext support, with full visibility of the Sync Log and service health.
